introduces guest poet
Jeffery Donaldson
at the annual TPS Poet Study

February 13, 2010:

A large group of poets gathered at
Hamilton's Westdale Public Library
to hear poet Jeffery Donaldson
discuss poetics in general, and
his own poetry in particular.

Donaldson illustrated his
inspiring talk with samples
of his own work, including the
title poem from his most recent
collection, Palilalia. The term refers
to a vocal tic characterized by the
involuntary repetition of syllables,
words or phrases.

Donaldson's poem,
Palilalia
is featured on the TPS website
as the June 2010 Poetry Pick.
