Above: TPS President Norman Brown introduces guest poet Jeffery Donaldson at the annual TPS Poet Study February 13, 2010: A large group of poets gathered at Hamilton's Westdale Public Library to hear poet Jeffery Donaldson discuss poetics in general, and his own poetry in particular. Donaldson illustrated his inspiring talk with samples of his own work, including the title poem from his most recent collection, Palilalia. The term refers to a vocal tic characterized by the involuntary repetition of syllables, words or phrases.
